LeadStallion is our product, and we have no connection with Outscraper. The Outscraper details on this page come from Outscraper's own website, outscraper.com, its Google Maps scraper page and its pricing page, as we read them on October 29, 2026. Features and prices change, so check there for the current version.
What Outscraper does well
Outscraper is built for data at scale. According to its site:
- It describes itself as a business data and enrichment platform, with data from Google Maps and more than 50 other sources, including Google Search, Yellow Pages, Trustpilot and Tripadvisor.
- A Google Maps search returns fields such as the business name, phone, website, rating, review count, opening hours, category, address and business status, for locations worldwide.
- An Emails & Contacts add-on looks for emails, phone numbers and social links on each business's website.
- Results export to CSV, Excel, Parquet or JSON, and the paid tiers include an API.
- Pricing is pay as you go, billed per record, with the first 500 businesses each month free.
If you need a lot of business data, in any industry and any country, or you want it flowing into your own software, Outscraper is made for that.
Where home-service agencies do more of the work
Outscraper gives you raw data, and that is its strength. For an agency that sells only to contractors, it also leaves work for after the pull:
- Categories need sorting. A Google listing's category is, in the words of Outscraper's own field notes, "defined by contributors", so the results for one trade usually need a pass to remove the businesses you don't want.
- An empty field isn't a confirmed gap. A blank website field often means the owner never added the site to Google, not that there is no site. Before you pitch it, you still check.
- Numbers, not a pitch. You get ratings and review counts. Deciding which ones make a business worth contacting, and what to say, is up to you.
- License status isn't on a Google listing. If licensing matters to your pitch, it's a separate step.
- Volume means cleanup. Every roofer in a metro area can be thousands of rows to qualify for a small agency that needs ten good conversations this week.
How LeadStallion is different
LeadStallion starts from contractors and narrows them to the ones with a gap your agency can fix.
- Built mostly from state/public license records. Each lead shows its license status and the date the state's license file last listed it.
- Three trades: HVAC, plumbing and roofing, in every state listed on our pricing page.
- Gaps we could confirm: no website, under 10 Google reviews or a rating under 4.0, no Google profile, no Facebook page. "No website" appears only when the Google listing shows none and a search for the phone number finds none.
- Ranked: an opportunity score puts the strongest prospects first.
- Outreach written for you: every unlocked lead comes with a first email and two follow-ups based on its confirmed gap.
- Something to hand your clients: Pro and Agency include a white-label market report for one trade and area, with your agency's name on it.

Who should stay on Outscraper
Outscraper is the better fit if any of these is true for you:
- You sell to many industries, not just home-service contractors.
- You work outside the US, or in states we don't cover yet.
- You need an API or an export to feed your own tools or CRM.
- You want raw Google data at volume, such as opening hours and categories, and you are happy to clean it yourself.
LeadStallion is the better fit if you sell websites, SEO, reviews, ads or automation to HVAC, plumbing or roofing contractors in the US, and you would rather start each day with a short ranked list and a reason to email than with a spreadsheet to clean. We compare LeadStallion with another general tool on our D7 Lead Finder alternative page.
Frequently asked questions
Is LeadStallion cheaper than Outscraper?
They charge differently. Outscraper bills per record, pay as you go, with a free monthly allowance, according to its pricing page. LeadStallion is a monthly plan, with a free plan that unlocks 10 leads in full. Which costs less depends on how many records you pull and how much time you spend cleaning them.
Does LeadStallion have an API or an export like Outscraper?
No. LeadStallion has no API and no export. You work the leads in your browser. If you need the data in your own app or spreadsheet, Outscraper is the better fit.
Does LeadStallion use Google Maps data?
We match each contractor to its Google listing for its rating, review count and website link. The list itself is built mostly from state/public license records, not from a map search.
Can I use both?
Yes. Some agencies use a general tool for industries and countries we don't cover, and LeadStallion for US contractors.
Is LeadStallion affiliated with Outscraper?
No. Outscraper is a separate company. We compare the two using the information on Outscraper's own website.
